Community Memorial Hospital (CMH) Foundation is the recipient of a substantial monetary gift made by a local Syracuse couple who wanted to remain anonymous. Lisa Voorhees, VP Clinic Operations & Support Services, was notified of the couple’s wishes in late December 2015. In presenting the check to CMH Administration, the anonymous donors included a letter that stated,
“Jesus is the reason for the season…every season! It is in recognition of His saving grace that we give this gift of $40,000 to the CMH Foundation.
Because God has blessed us, we bless others, as we are able.
It is our hope that this gift may help to provide healing to those suffering in the Syracuse area.
To our Heavenly Father be the glory!”
It is with sincere appreciation that the CMH Foundation accepts this gracious gift. The mission of the CMH Foundation is to encourage and inspire charitable giving that will enhance the family-centered healthcare services and education provided by the Community Memorial Hospital District and its associated entities.
Money raised will help support CMH to continue providing cutting-edge technology & services to patients & families allowing them to stay local for their healthcare needs.
